FaLaLa Holiday Revue Showcases the Arts Community
Remembers one of its Members, Dale Howe.

Second Annual FaLaLa Holiday Revue – Briggs Opera House
Friday December 2nd / First Friday / 6:30 pm
Theater Dance Music and Film of the Community

This Friday December 2nd at 6:30 pm The Friends of the Briggs Opera House are presenting the 2nd Annual FaLaLa Holiday Revue featuring performances in Theater Music Dance and Film by Upper Valley arts organizations and individuals.

The show is also dedicated to the memory of Dale Howe a well respected resident of White River Junction and a piano tuner who tuned an amazing number of instruments from very likely yours, to Dolly Parton to Johnny Cash to John Denver to Cannonball Adderly and dozens of others. A tribute to Dale will be played by Bob Merrill of Pomfret to start the show.

Dancing will be brought by both The White River Ballet Academy and the Raq-On Dancers. Theatrical bits will be done by Valley Improv who serves as the Emcee aspect of the night. Music comes not only at the beginning but at the end by Thom Healy and Friends with a community sing along and in the middle of the program by performers of the Upper Valley Music Center. In the middle of the program will be film short titled "We are Small" by Vermont film maker Jeremy Lee Mackenzie.

This array of Upper Valley arts charmed the audience in the Year of Fun at the Briggs Opera House and reveals the role of the “BOH” for years to come. Proceeds will be in support of the BOH as well as all the performance organizations in the interest of community arts as a vital part of daily lives.
